Summer 2026 Internships

 –  (INVESTMENT AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT INTERN POSITION

  • Overview: Part of a team that conducts original research through their lens, on issues important to investment and wealth managers.
  • Location: remote
  • Dates: 06/08/2026 – 08/06/2026 (9 weeks)
  • Part-time:  25-30 Hours weekly as follows:
    • Hours, kickoffs on June 4 & 5 (1 hour each)
    • Hours, Week 1 (Education Week)
      •   Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm ET
      •   Intro Mentor meeting: 60 minutes TBD
    • Hours, Weeks 2 to 9
      •   Mondays: 10am – 12pm ET (Education)
      •   Thursdays: 10am – 12pm ET (Education)
      •   Research: 17-22 hours, Flexible, Established by each Team of Interns
      •   Twice weekly team meetings with peers: 60 minutes
      •   Once weekly team meeting with mentor:  60 minutes
      •   Weekly 1:1 career development meeting with mentor: 60 minutes

HIRING PACKAGE AND COMPENSATION

  • Although the internship is unpaid, Sapere Aude will help interns access grants or stipends from your institutions directed to First-generation students, students who work for nonprofits or work on research projects.
  • Subscriptions to industry publications: eg. Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Morningstar, Barrons
  • Formalized industry education curriculum & certificates: CFA Investment Foundations, Envestnet Institute on Campus.
  • Financial literacy curriculum, Kindros
  • Résumé building tool and Interview practice Platform – Big Interview
  • Interns will end the program with the following:
    • Personal guidance and action plan to interview and obtain a “Rising Senior” internship in investment and wealth management
    • Published Opinion Snapshot Paper or other time-intensive research project
    • Completed Resume and Personal Statement (in cooperation with your career center)
    • LinkedIn profile
    • Sapere Aude Alumni network
    • Mentor relationships with established industry executives
    • Access to databases of “Rising Senior” internships

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Open to first-generation college students (neither parent graduated from four year institution.)
  • Open to children of public servants (including first responders, teachers, military, nonprofits.)
  • Open to students graduating in May 2028 or May 2029
  • Must reside in USA during the program
